Work experience
7/2014 – 3/2015 Royal Glass Co.
Project Manager
Denton, Texas
I was acting as a project manager for 7 medium size projects all over the
extended Dallas area. Some of my responsibilities included facilitating
hand off meetings from estimating to construction, contract execution with
ownership, the entire submittal process from selecting the different products
and systems making sure that we are covered through the
estimate/contract/specs, to submission to the contractor, to final approvals.
I performed my own take offs and compared with the original estimate,
prepared request for quote and sent to vendors, and then again comparing
them and developing purchase orders and placement of materials orders. I
also reviewed and signed off on my invoices for the project, as well as
developing any and all change order work ups, and monthly billings via the
pay apps. I acted as the hub for coordination between the field thru the
superintendents and foreman, the shop and fabricators/glaziers, the drafting
and estimating departments, accounts payable and receivables, and interact
with the owner of the company daily and keep him apprised of the status of
the jobs. I was the point of contact for the general contractors and I was in
constant communication with them regarding RFIs, COR, drawing changes,
conflicts with drawings or field conditions, weekly coordination meetings,
schedules and durations, and anything else that might arise during the
projects.
12/2013 – 6/2014
Self Employed
Owner and Operator
During this short period of time, I did work in the residential field performing
various types of work from small repairs up to designing and planning medium
size home remodels and upgrades. I perform all of my own work from the field
work to the paper work and accounting requirements.

4/2011-10/2013 Allsouth Subcontractors Inc.
General Superintendent
Birmingham, Alabama
I was working as the general superintendent for the sloped roofing division of
Allsouth. We specialize in architectural metal roofing and trims with projects in
Tennessee down to the Gulf Coast and up to Huntsville and everywhere in
between. I have a work force of approximately 40 guys depending on the time
and where we are at in projects. I am responsible for scheduling man power,
equipment, material procurement and deliveries, quality assurance, safety of my
guys, inspections, interaction with general contractors and owner’s
representatives. I also take care of ensuring that we are performing work that we
are contracted to do and seeking change orders for any additional work that is
requested of us. I review every bid that our office personnel calculate and develop
the means and methods to how we are going to approach each job. This year we
will finish two multi-million dollar projects as well as several in the hundreds of
thousands range. These projects range from new high schools, veterans homes,
higher education buildings, industrial projects, several government buildings, and
so on.
1/2010-4/2011
B & B Construction
Owner and Operator
I got back into working for myself for a small time to take care of a few projects
that I was approached to build/remodel. During this time I did everything that an
owner would take care – owner interactions, bidding, buying out materials,
performing portions of work, overseeing subs, billings, accounts payables, etc. I
did these projects because I was highly recommended for them by close colleagues
how have helped me out greatly in the past.
2/2009-1/2010
Physical Security
Senior Project Manager
As the Senior Project Manager for this custom curtain wall manufacturer I oversaw
3 project managers covering projects from Sante Fe, NM to Birmingham, AL up
along the East Coast into the Washington DC area. I helped and guided these PMs
in working through the hand off from sales department to construction, through
design and shop drawings and fabrication tickets, into material selection through
submittals and approvals ending in material procurement. We worked through the
in-house manufacturing of our units all the way to installation and customer
acceptance. As the Senior PM I was also running the biggest and highest profile
projects that we had. I spear-headed the large team for the first phase of a multiphase/year
project for the State Department’s (Washington DC) modernization
and security upgrades. Our team took a 60 year old punch window and curtain
wall system and redesigned and engineered to meet DoD standards for blastresistant
curtain walls and windows. We worked through design development,
blast mitigation engineering, acceptance by the Historic Architectural Board for
DC, through blast testing of our new systems in Texas, through manufacturing of
8 different systems for the building, and finally installation back up at the State
Department building. One of my biggest accomplishments in my career is taking
a new 10” thick window wall system with 3” thick glass and making it look just
like a 60 year 1 ¾” thick system with ¼” glass.
10/2005 – 2/2009
Opus South

I was the Project Superintendent for a design build project for the General Service
Administration and Social Security Administration’s South East Regional
Headquarters in Birmingham Alabama. I was in charge on site of the $150 M
585,000 sqft 8 story building. My staff included up to 6 assistant superintendents
and 2 foremen who ran a crew of 30 men. I coordinated with this crew the daily
trade activities while I developed and maintained the schedule and pushed the job.
My other duties included conducting weekly sub meetings and working with the

Helena, Alabama
Project Managers in their meetings to make sure we were all working towards the
schedule. I had to interact a tremendous amount with the government’s PMs to
ensure the project was ready when they started moving from their old site to this
one. I worked with the engineers and the architects to find solutions to daily
complications that came up on site.
7/2003 – 1/2005

in uptown Dallas, Tx. I started with all of the underground and civil work, ran the
structural portion of the project including the piers, slab on grade, and suspended
post tensioned slabs. Worked with and coordinated with architects and engineers
to work through structural problems. As the structural portion of the project
wound down I took the bare decks and oversaw the completion of 2 floors of non
standard apartment units as well as the public areas (clubhouse, lobby, lounge area,
and pool deck – 5th floor). I was in charge of coordinating the extremely high end
finishes with interior designers and sub contractors.

of punch-list. My responsibilities were managing day to day field operations of
the tower portion of the project. This included management of all phase and trades
